James has been a dear friend of mine since we were in high-school. We’ve been here for one another for half of our lives. James recently became engaged and his wonderful fiancé bought him a ticket to LA to visit his friends (keeper!!!). James came by my work to say good-bye, before heading back to Chicago, and when I asked him “what made you smile today?” this was his response:
“Knowing that I am going to go home and see my fiancé”.
There was no hesitation in James’ response, and it made me smile knowing how happy he is.
I thought this would be a refreshing recourse to my recent posts, and conversations of how love does not exist like it used to. It’s still out there.
